There was also no way to reach any representative by phone, email, or message. That policy is fairly normal and not a problem on its own, except that unlike M圜hart or any other medical appointment systems, there was NO WAY TO CANCEL the appointment in the online system. To make matters worse, patients are billed for appointments unless they are cancelled at least 48 hours ahead of time. ![]() ![]() Both of my requests were ignored and substituted with unacceptable alternatives without even asking or notifying me ahead of time. However, when I logged on to check my appointment details, it was with a totally different provider AND an online video appointment. The next day, I received a phone call from a representative offering me a series of three appointments to start with. Also, having seen a fair number of therapists over the years, I know that they are anything but "one size fits all" and that finding the right person can be the difference between having productive, helpful sessions versus a complete waste of time and money. On Foresight's website I found a provider I felt would be an excellent fit, so I proceeded to fill out the appointment request form and checked the "in person" box because I don't have the necessary privacy in my home for online therapy sessions. ![]() My health insurance directed me to this organization for in network mental health providers. First, I want to say that I cannot speak about the quality of the therapists at Foresight, because I never saw any of them, and that this is purely about my experience with dealing with the aspects of requesting and cancelling appointments.

This system intelligently analyzes uploaded images and reduces them to the smallest possible file size without negatively affecting the overall quality. It supports three file types: PNG, JPG/JPEG, and GIF. Our tool uses lossy compression to shrink down image files. Compressing them could free up more internal storage, fixing this problem. These images could be taking up a lot of hard drive space and preventing you from taking more photos. Likewise, you might have large images on your phone. Compressing this image would be very useful. Depending on your needs, this could be too big. A JPG from a professional DSLR camera, for example, could be dozens of megabytes. Why would you want to compress images?ĭepending on the source of an image, the file could be quite large. With lossy compression, how small you want the final file to be will depend on how much loss of quality you’re comfortable with. This results in a smaller file but with a reduced quality. Lossy compression is when the compressor removes excessive or unimportant bits from the original file. This results in a smaller file that has the exact same quality as the original. Lossless compression is when the compression tool removes empty, needless, or duplicated bits from the original file. There are two types of compression: lossless and lossy. ![]() Simply put, it means converting a large file into a smaller file. ![]() In terms of digital files, compression is the act of encoding information using fewer bits than what’s found in the original file.
